N Scale Kato F7 Images
Here are some images showing the decoder
installation and the finished operating headlights.
An overhead view showing the lower headlight
installed in the front, and the decoder installed
in the rear.
A close up of the front showing the surface
mount LED in the lower position.
The upper headlight operating independently.
Both this and the following image were taken
with the factory dual headlight lens installed.
It has a light pipe between the two lenses
that is meant to carry light from the upper
LED to the lower headlight lens. Removing
the connection between the two lenses would
help eliminate any stray light passing from
one to the other lens.
The lower headlight operating all by itself.
